BI Studio Visit!

Yesterday a group of Becoming Independent artists visited us here at the residency. They met our current artists-in-residence, composer, pianist and singer Julia Barry & wood sculpture artist Bennett Ewing.

Everyone enjoyed the experience visiting the artists in an atmosphere that leads to impromptu collaborations and new work. The resident artists answered questions, demonstrated techniques, and gave them a tour of their studio.

We love to see how these studio days inspire our BI friends in their own artistic vision. After our chat, we enjoyed the beautiful day having lunch outside, followed by homemade chocolate chip cookies.
