We are profoundly grateful for your contributions. Now more than ever, we need your support for next year! Out of an amazing pool of 2018 applicants we have selected 10 artists who have requested sponsorships. By supporting Chalk Hill Residency today, you ensure our mission to push innovative work.

BI Solstice Studio Visit!

Yesterday we celebrated the winter solstice during a studio visit from our partners and friends from Becoming Independent! Our current artist in residence, Clark Swarthout, spoke about how he has only been painting for 5 years, and his recent move into drawings as a senior citizen. Everyone enjoyed the visit and found it very inspirational!
