Mixed-media artist, Hersley Casero will be spending three weeks at Chalk Hill with documentary filmmaker, Toulla Mavromati. In this time, he plans to work on a series of artworks inspired by the Warnecke Ranch and Vineyard as a continuation of his Impermanence series. Casero's Impermanence series is inspired by the complicated relationship between people and their ever-changing environments. This series came about after seeing his home change drastically due to Western influence. He hopes to use his time at Chalk Hill to immerse himself in a juxtaposing environment in order to show a different perspective in his artwork.
